Originally from Lambert, Mississippi, Timiko completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, majoring in psychology and English, and earned her Master of Education in community counseling there as well.
A Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of clinical experience, she treats mental health, adjustment, and life-transitional concerns with clients of all ages and backgrounds. She is also a Board Qualified Supervisor (BQS), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Board Certified TeleMental Health (BC-TMH) provider.
A subject-matter expert on PTSD, Timiko is certified in several first-line evidence-based therapies — Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET) — with advanced training in Cognitive-Behavioral Conjoint Therapy (CBCT). She is also an experienced provider for survivors of military sexual trauma (MST) and race-based stress and trauma.

Yes. Secure, HIPAA-compliant video sessions are available for clients located anywhere in Mississippi, at the same rates as in-person sessions.
Yes. Transcendent Talk Therapy is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare. Private-pay rates are also available if you prefer not to use insurance or carry a different plan.
Your first session is an intake assessment. We'll review your history, current concerns, and goals so we can build a plan that's tailored to you.
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged a $25 fee.
Yes. What you share is protected and confidential, with limited legal exceptions (such as risk of harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse, or a court order). We'll review confidentiality together at your first session.
